Wonderful RFC Propeller Boss Mounted RAF Cockpit Mk IIIA Clock by Carley & Clémence
This superb fully functional RAF cockpit timepiece and stopwatch is in great used working condition and is made by the famous watch & clock makers “George Carley and Josef Auguste Clémence”, (Carley & Clémence), dated 1937.
It’s superbly mounted into a repurposed used WW1 “Royal Aircraft Factory”, Royal Flying Corps (RFC), R.E 8 Reconnaissance Bomber (1914-18) mahogany propeller boss, which has a suspension ring to the reverse, making this a wall clock, which has a plethora of embossed information to the exterior.
It measures 9” x 9” x 3”D and is ready to use and admire, great addition to any aviation collection!
