Vintage Royal Marine Commandant Motor Launch or Barge Rooftop light. (c.1930-1945)
As seen in the 2nd picture (On Roof of Barge) this fabulous and probably one of a kind piece of Naval History is in great working condition and has both its original panes of glass within the the Teak wood box. It’s been converted from battery to 240v and fitted with a small strip light inside. The top half lifts away from the base to reveal the inside and measures 22”L x 10”H x 7.5”W
I’ve seen a couple of Royal Navy versions but never a Royal Marine one!
