Superb Vintage Royal Navy Wardroom Rum Barrel Ice Bucket (c.1953-70)
This brass coopered japanned solid oak RN Ice bucket with liner, is in fine fettle with a good used patina commensurate with its age.
Made to represent the traditional Rum Ration serving barrels that were sadly made redundant by the Admiralty on 31st July 1970, commonly known as “Black Tot Day”.
Overall it measures 10”H x 8.5” in diameter and has a removable lid, fitted with a brass star and acorn finial.
The last one of these I had sold extremely quickly, so don’t dally!
