Famous for making diving parts and accessories, Siebe Gorman of London also made bellows for mining & fire brigades, which could be used to supply air into a helmet or a fire/gas alarm or fog horn.
This particular one is in great condition with a wonderful aged patina commensurate with its use. The leather is nice and supple and more importantly, intact, it retains its steel hand rod, which is exceedingly rare and has two brass plates to the top, one with instructions for the users and the other with the makers details.
