This superb military, probably Royal Naval solid bronze bell & hanger is in great condition and has seen little use. It came within its original box with exterior labels and wax seals for Brompton, Gillingham, Kent. Which is either for Chatham Dockyard or the Royal Engineers Barracks at Brompton, I would hazard at guess at the dockyard.

The bell has a 7” flare, measures 7”H without the bronze hanger and has a black painted embossed Crowsfoot or Broadarrow to one side, it’s also stamped with serial numbers to the crown and hanger. It comes with its original clanger and a decorative bell rope fitted with a monkeys fist.
