Now this is a bit special & extremely rare!

1930’s Bassett-Lowke Electric Model of the White Star Line MV Britannic.
MV Britannic was a British transatlantic ocean liner that was launched in 1929 and scrapped in 1961. She was the penultimate ship built for White Star Line before its 1934 merger with Cunard Line. When built, Britannic was the largest motor ship in the UK Merchant Navy. Her running mate ship was the MV Georgic.
The model is in good condition but will need some minor fettling to get it looking ship shape and retains all of it’s original features including the electric motor within. It has a brass builders plate to the superstructure for Bassett-Lowke who were an English toy manufacturing company based in Northampton. Founded by Wenman Joseph Bassett-Lowke in 1898 & the company specialized in model railways, boats and ships, and construction sets.
The model measure 100cmL x 35cmH x 15cmW and comes on a mahogany stand.
These rare sought after models by Bassett-Lowke, command high prices and this one with a little work could fetch between £5000-£10000 at auction.
